Restaurants in and Around Jerusalem

Upon visiting the Holy Land, you will notice in the faces of passersby that Israel is a smorgasbord of varying nations and cultures. With that comes a plethora of restaurants from each of those cultures to tickle your taste buds. We invite you to experience authentic Israeli food as well as to delve into the flavors of other cultures; and when you just want something comforting from home, Israel doesn’t fall short. Here are some of our favorite restaurants to visit:

Jerusalem and Surrounding Area

Welcome to the Quarter Cafe

Established in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem in 1975, the Quarter Café is a kosher dairy restaurant serving the finest local cuisine.

Located in the heart of the Old City and with a breathtaking view, the recently renovated Quarter Café is the perfect place to bring your friends and family for a memorable meal, reception, bar mitzvah, or other joyful event.

During the day, the restaurant offers a fresh self-service buffet, while in the evening, it functions as an events hall, seating up to 65 guests.

The owners of the Quarter Café, Uzi and Alon Amidor, are known for the personal and kind attention they provide their customers.

Bulghourji Restaurant

Bulghourji Restaurant and Lounge opened in 2004, an enterprise of the Kalajian family whose forefathers came to Jerusalem in the fifteenth century. It is situated in an ancient and highly impressive building which was once a burghul / bulgur factory, which is evoked in the name that has remained unchanged for centuries.

Bulghourji is renowned for its wonderful Armenian dishes – all based on fine meat prepared in traditional style, and the best home cooking. The warm atmosphere in the restaurant draws together elements of Jerusalem old and new.

Come to Bulghourji and enjoy truly unique flavours and dishes, in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Bulghourji is happy to host events for up to 300 guests.
