If you are old enough, you might remember Allan Sherman from the 1960s.
He wrote very funny song parodies with a Jewish flavor in the 1960s. One of his most famous albums was called My Son the Folk Singer. This particular parody is of a Harry Belafonte song called Matilda.
Here is a preview of the words to the song:
Oy, my Zelda
My Zelda
My Zelda, she took the money and ran with the tailor
Once again now
My Zelda
My Zelda
My Zelda, she took the money and ran with the tailor
My Zelda she found her big romance
When I broke the zipper in my pants
My Zelda, she took the money and ran with the tailor
