A tasty recipe to help keep your cholesterol in check.
Ingredients:
1 Block of extra firm water packed tofu (12oz.)
3 tsp.yellow mustard
1/4 tsp.black pepper
2Tbsp.vegan chicken style seasoning( I use McKays brand)
2tsp.apple cider vinegar
1tsp.onion powder
2 stalks of celery, chopped small
1/3c.diced onion
1/2c.and 1 Tbsp.vegan mayo( I use Veganaise brand)
1/8tsp.salt(or to taste)
Dried parsley for a garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Crumble the tofu into a medium bowl.Add the chopped celery and onion.In another bowl, stir together all of the other ingredients.Pour the dressing over the tofu, and mix very well.Serve cold garnished with parsley.
